Silly Season Off With A Bang
The MotoAmerica silly season wasted no time producing news after the conclusion of the championship season this past weekend. On Monday we received confirmation through the Instagram feed of TV commentator Greg White that the Warhorse team will not only return with two bikes next season but they will be piloted by Six-time Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier alongside newly crowned Supersport Champion Darryn Binder.
Combined with the two other Ducatis that have already been confirmed by Rahal Ducati Moto for next season that will be piloted by two-time Superbike Champion Josh Herrin alongside returning Superbike race winner PJ Jacobsen, that is going to give the Italian brand four bikes with a realistic chance of competing or the Superbike championship and the silly season is only one day old.
Also making rounds this past weekend is the rumor that Harley-Davidson is going to cease the operations of it’s Mission King of the Baggers program. This is something to keep an eye on in the coming days and months as we head into the offseason.
There were a grand total of 13 riders that took part in the 2026 championship in any capacity; it would be hard to imagine the class continuing on without the continued support of the brand out of Millawaukee.
